TRENDWATCH: Boho-Chic
Boho-chic is a style of fashion inspired by bohemian and hippie influences. It has been seen since the early 90's and has repeatedly re-surfaced in varying guises. Check out some of our boho-chic pieces here at Blackbird Attic:

This over-sized jacket from Alafoss is neck to calves boho/nordic-chic I suggest wearing it open for an effortlessly chic look. The piece was made in Iceland from 100% pure virgin wool.

When it comes to boho, accessories are not to be overlooked. Consider adding pieces that reflect the same trend. I chose this fringe satchel to achieve a cohesive look. The bag is a soft, high quality, rich chocolate brown. Wear it cross-body or off your shoulder.

Long necklaces work best with boho looks and I really like the handmade look of this one (Beaded tassle necklace; $22) Next is another beaded necklace, also handmade with alternating stone and wooden beads. The boho in this one is so easily detectable. Consider matching pieces that are less over-the-top bohemian looking with those that epitomize the trend.
